Teppler, PM me with good email address-can get manual to you. I believe the first digit in your serial number is actually a 'B', not a '6'. Built in February (B) of 1996. Manual has pretty good procedures for testing components of your ignition system, and carb adjustments.
If running rough before/after your carburetor work, try pulling one sparkplug wire at a time (w/insulated pliers) and see if you are running on one cylinder. If you have an IR gun, an can access both exhaust mounting points, you can monitor from a cold start and see if the temperatures warm up close to each other.

HI everyone, just found this web site and am blown away with all the useful info.I am in need of a service manual for an Onan Mdl 4BGEFA26100H, S/N, My generator does not run as smooth as I think it should have cleaned it but engine still runs rough but starts easy and doesn,t die. Plan to replace plugs any other comments would be appreciated. Do you still have the Onan manual to download? I just bought a 1992 Fleetwood Coronado with a 4 Kw Onan 4 BGEFA26101J generator. It doesn’t seem to be putting out a lot of voltage (12.3 v at the batteries) and it diesels after shutdown, so I’ve got some issues.
Mk1 xr2 manual. Also need to know the regular service items/intervals and I have no references at all. Anything you’ve got would be appreciated. Thanks, James.
